Beth Martz

Adoption Coordinator

Beth has been a lover of animals from the very early years.  Growing up Beth was always drawn to animals of all shapes and sizes.  Her family was never without a pet whether it be dogs, cats, gerbils, fish, ducks or rabbits.  Not to mention the frogs, toads, turtles or salamanders that she was forever bringing home.   Her parents were certain that with a love of animals as strong as hers, she would eventually become a veterinarian.

As an adult, Beth’s love for animals never changed.  After losing her beloved golden retriever, Beth began looking for ways to get more involved with helping animals in need.  Beth eventually adopted a coonhound puppy from For Otis Sake and it was shortly after that that she became a volunteer.  After volunteering with fundraising events for about a year, Beth decided she wanted to be more involved and began learning the application and adoption process with For Otis Sake.  Today, Beth serves as the Adoption Coordinator as well as remaining active with the fundraising events.

Beth resides in Hagerstown with her spouse, five dogs and two cats.  She works full-time as the Imaging Operations Manager at Diagnostic Imaging Services where she has been for the last 24 years.
