Our Mission

Our mission at For Otis Sake is to save at-risk dogs by pulling them from overcrowded and under-funded rural animal control and shelter facilities nationwide. We are a foster-only organization with no facility. All donations are used to provide veterinary care, training and food for our rescued animals as we prepare them for their adoptive families.

There are many ways to help us in our mission to rescue, rehab and rehome at-risk dogs. Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth or social media, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.

Our KidsUp! club page is designed for kids who love animals and want to create a better, more compassionate future for humans and animals alike.   Through the resources provided here, kids can learn about proper animal care, safe handling, and more, all while learning about kindness, compassion, and empathy for all living creatures!  


The resources are jam packed with useful information, fun and games and activities targeting kids 18 and under!

Constant Companion Monthly Giving Program

Make a difference in the life of a dog each month by becoming a For Otis Sake Constant Companion.  Your monthly gift will be utilized to cover medical or other  expenses for our recently rescued dogs or forever fosters.
